Btw, Gaia is a place where you can hanging out with friends, meet new people, making friends and kill boredom! Mostly, you often saw crazy people out there, they are funny. Most rich gaians hate noobs and noobs are the baddies :D. You can make fun with them. Hey, if you think noobs and newbies are the same, you will have the wrong answer.
Noob: May or may not be new to something. This type of person has generally shown taht they have no potential at what they are doing, despite their "holier-than-thou" attitude and short temper with anyone that disagrees with them, even when they have been proven wrong. They are unwilling to learn, grow, and change, limiting themselves and those that they associate with in potential, being like a cancerous growth in what they are doing.
Newbie: One who is new to something. This type of person has an untapped potential and may, with help, grow to become skilled and productive, contributing positively to whatever it is they are doing.

Oh yeah, before you join Gaia, you make your own avatar and by that, you can customize your avatar by changing appearances you desire. You also can make a fantasy-based kind of avatar and etc! To get gold, we can posting at the forums, posting journals, posting comments, surfing the website (Gaiaonline.com only), selling arts at the shop forums, selling things at the marketplace, shake trees and bushes in towns and etc! It's easy to get gold.
Gaia online also had games. There are Rally, Jigsaw, Fishing, Slots, Cards, Wordbump, Pinball and also zOMG! zOMG! is a MMORPG. You do not need to install the game. That's the advantage and it's totally free. Oh! You will also get gold too.
